(California Energy Commission is asking for public comments)....They want comments from the public on the impact of three proposed geothermal plants.

Berkshire Hathaway Energy is proposing three new Geothermal plants near the Southeastern border of the Salton Sea. The Commission says there are obvious benefits to the new plants, being renewable energy and economic benefits, but they want public comments to determine the plants do not harm the communities or the environment. The deadline to submit comments on the proposed Elmore North Plant is July 29 at 5 pm.
