A vehicle went out of control and ran off the roadway.

The accident happened at about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. That vehicle ended up in a canal at State Route 86 near Carey Road. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and he was taken to Pioneers Memorial Hospital with what were described as minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
