Cocaine Seized at thee Highway 86 Checkpoint)...El Centro Sector Border Patrol Agents were working the checkpoint last week.

 A white SUV approached the checkpoint. During the primary inspection, a Border Patrol K-9 Team alerted to the vehicle. A subsequent inspection resulted in the discovery of 34 packages wrapped in brown cellophane. The packages tested positive for cocaine. They weighed a total of 92 pounds, with a street value of over $1 million. The vehicle, narcotics and the driver of the vehicle were all turned over to the Imperial Valley Border Enforcement Security Task Force for further processing and investigation.
