A tractor trailer rig caught fire Friday afternoon.

The fire was reported at 3:38 p.m. at McCabe Road and State Route 111. The trailers tires caught on fire and the blaze spread to the trailer. The driver was able to detach the truck from the trailer. The westbound lanes of McCabe Road were blocked for a while.
