The California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) has awarded scholarships to 76 students across California.

Among the recipients are Joselen Xitlali Contreras from Imperial and Abigail Montes from Calexico. Contreras is a student at University of California Berkeley and Montes attends California State University, Chico. Each scholarship is worth $6,500. The CLLCF Scholarship program was established in 2015. To date more than 490 students have received over $2 million in scholarships.
