(IID issued a Conserve Alert earlier this week)....They say, so far, residents have done very well.

They have conserved enough energy to avoid service interruptions. The Alert is not over. It will continue until at least July 2nd. The Imperial Irrigation District is asking residents to continue to curb energy use and help the overall grid by setting your thermostat to 78 degrees or higher, avoid using major appliances between 4-9 pm and turning off all unnecessary lights.
