There will be a Special Meeting of the Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors Friday.

The only item on the agenda is to Authorize the Use of the Draft Environmental Assessment for the IID 2024-2026 Temporary Colorado River System Conservation Project. As a condition of funding for the Colorado River Basin conservation efforts, the IID and other participants are required develop plans to conserve water and reduce demands on the  Colorado River. The meeting will take place at the Condit Auditorium on Broadway in El Centro with a teleconferenced location in San Diego. The meeting will be called to order at 4:30 p.m.
