(County Sheriff's Deputy in the Winterhaven Division made the stop)...The Deputy made the stop because the vehicle was speeding, and the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

A registration check on the vehicle showed the vehicle was suspended. During the inventory inspection of the vehicle, a loaded and unregistered firearm was located. The driver was arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including possession of a concealed and loaded firearm, possession of an unregistered firearm and being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition. The suspect was not identified.
