Imperial's Jayden Rutledge has been named San Diego Section CIF Softball Pitcher of the Year.

Rutledge finished the Tigers season with a 1.37 Earned Run Average, struck out 188 batters in 168.2 innings and gave up just 123 hits. The Tiger also hit .451 and added 38 Runs Batted In. The Tigers won the CIF-SDS Division 2 championship. Imperial outfielder Andrea De La Trinidad was named to the All-Star second team. The team was named by the Coaches Advisory Committee and a Media Panel.
