(4 EV Charging Stations)....They have been installed in Calipatria. 

A ceremony was held marking the completion of the Charging Stations. They are located at the Sun Community Credit Union Branch. The City of Calipatria and the Comite Civico Del Valle, Inc hosted the ceremony Thursday. Attending the ceremony along with local dignitaries, were officials from the California Energy Commission and State Environmental Protection Agency.. The installation of the EV Fast Chargers are part of the Comite Civico del Valle Lithium Valley EV Charger Equity Initiative.. Calipatria recieved the second set of Fast Chargers under the initiative. The City of Calexico received the first set, located at Rockwood Park across from the Calexico Fire Station #1. The Comite says they plan to install EV Fast Chargers in El Centro and Brawley in the near future.
