The 2024 Imperial Valley Economic and Energy Summit opened on Wednesday.

The Summit will continue Thursday and Friday at Imperial Valley College. There will be panel discussions on topics such as Energy/Water, Green Fleets, Policy & Compliance, Zero and Near Zero Emission Vehicles on Thursday as well as a special presentation on the Lithium Valley Specific Plan Area Formation. On Friday, topics to be discussed are Imperial Valleys New Economy, Recompete Pilot Program and a Lithium Valley Workforce Study. The annual Summit will wind down by Noon on Friday.
