(A Media event will be held Friday)....Local Public health and law enforcement agencies will participate.
They will be sharing information on the dangers of Heat Stroke and prevention tips. The information is for everyone, but especially parents and caregivers of small children. The event will be held at 9 am Friday at the El Centro Fire Station 3 on North Waterman Avenue in El Centro. The event is a serious reminder of the dangers of leaving children unattended in hot vehicles this summer. Children are at a higher risk than adults of dying from heatstroke in a hot vehicle, especially when they are too young to communicate.
