A Failure to Yield yields weapons.

Imperial County Sheriff's deputies assigned to Winterhaven on routine patrol, attempted to stop a vehicle. The driver failed to yield and that led to a pursuit. When the vehicle finally stopped the driver attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a shotgun, bulletproof vest and various types of ammunition. The driver was arrested and booked for evading officers, possession of the weapon and other charges.
