The action was announced at the Brawley City Council meeting. They announced they had entered into a 20 year contract with Clean Water Ventures, Inc, headquartered in Rhode Island. CWV plans to build, own, operate and maintain its Clean Water- Green Energy plant within the City of Brawley. This innovative facility will produce green hydrogen, clean energy, and clean water, offering substantial benefits to both the City and the Imperial Valley in terms of environmental, economic, and social initiatives. The zero carbon project is projected to generate over $20 million annually from sales and is valued at an impressive $400 million over the contract's lifespan
