The workshop is to make seniors aware of the latest scams targeting them. The Congressman will be joined by the Federal Trade Commission, Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service, and the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program. The experts will raise awareness of the latest scams that target senior citizens, offer practical advice on how to recognize and avoid thses threats, and provide the necessary steps if one suspects they've been a victim of fraud. The workshop will cover various topics including identity theft, Medicare fraud and more. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance from the leading authorities.
