The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday.
The Board issued a Proclamation declaring April 21 - 27, 2024 as National Crime Victims Rights Week. The theme this year is " How would you help? Options, services and hope for crime survivors." The proclamation reaffirms Imperial County's commitment to providing survivors with essential services, resources, and hope for a brighter future.
The Board also approved a letter of support for the Lithium Valley Recompete Proposal to the Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration. The initiative aims to further economic development within the region.
The Board also approved the purchase of five Hot Shot Vehicles for the Imperial County Area Agency on Aging Senior Nutrition Program. The vehicles will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of meals to congregate sites and hone-delivered meals. The cost is $428,000.
