A Yuma woman was reported missing in the Telegraph Pass area of Yuma County.

Yuma County Sheriff's deputies received the report of the missing hiker at about 6:00 a.m. Wednesday. 58-yearold Laura Kissinger, of Yuma, was overdue after telling an acquaintance that she was going for a hike. Deputies located Kissinger's parked vehicle near the hiking area and commenced a search. YCSO's Search and Rescue Team responded and Border Patrol BORSTAR and CBP Air and Marine provided air support. Ms. Kissinger was found at the bottom of a ridge approximately a quarter mile from the main trail. Deputies said she was found with trauma associated with a fall. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
