A Friday morning traffic accident led to a citation for a woman.

The collision occurred at about 11:30 Friday morning at Imperial and Scott Avenues in El Centro. The accident resulted in minor injuries to one of the drivers. The 21-year-old woman was also cited and released on charges of having a loaded firearm in the vehicle. The handgun was booked by police as evidence.
