(A Long Holiday Weekend coming up)....For some, it will be longer than for others.

The County says all non-emergency Departments will get a four day holiday weekend. They will be off Saturday, Sunday, Christmas Day Monday And Tuesday December 26th. The Imperial Irrigation District offices will have a three day weekend, returning to work on December 26th. Most Federal establishments, such as Banks, it will be a 3-day weekend. Schools will have a two week break. There final day before the break is Friday. The California Maximum Enforcement Period beginning Friday at 6 pm and continues until 11:59 Monday night. The MEP is the CHP Holiday patrol period when as many officers as possible are scheduled to patrol the roadways in an attempt to make traveling as safe as possible
