((Executive Director Of Communications, Marketing and Public Relations) ...Celeste Alvarez will lead the IVC Public Information Office as the new Executive Director of Communications, Marketing and Public Relations Office.

Formerly with the IV Food Bank, Alvarez begins her new position at Imperial Valley College Monday. She is a graduate of Imperial Valley College, as well as the University of Southern California, Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. The Brawley native has worked as a journalist, a columnist, brand ambassador and marketing coordinator.
