Border Patrol agents seized a quarter million dollars in methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
On Tuesday night, agents stopped a pick up truck on Interstate 8 near the Buckram Springs exit. Agents noticed four large duffle bags in the bed of the truck. A Border Patrol K-9 team alerted to the truck. Agents inspected the duffle bags and located 188 pounds of methamphetamine with a street value of nearly $282,000. The driver was turned over to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office for further investigation and processing.
