(CBP expanding SENTRI lane hours).....But, it is only temporary.

US Customs and Border Protection made the announcement Thursday. They said they will temporarily expand the hours of operation for the SENTRI Trusted Traveler Program vehicle lanes at the Calexico West Port of Entry. Beginning this Monday, CBP will conduct a two month pilot program expanding the Port's hours of operation to 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Currently the normal SENTRI operating hours are from 4 am to 12 am Monday- Friday and 5 am to 2 am Saturday and Sunday. Wait times will continue to be posted on CBP's Border Wait Times website.
