(Imperial Valley Desert Museum has issued an open call)...They are looking for Indigenous Mural and Exterior Sculpture Artists.

The artists should be from the Southern California or Northern Baja California areas. As part of the Far South/Border North grant the museum has been awarded, IVDM is looking for artists to submit their designs to display permanently at their facility. The museum is looking for 3 or 4 artists to create pieces to be installed that relate to social justice issues that indigenous communities face, such as land rights, cultural preservation, environmental stewardship, and decolonization efforts. The deadline to respond is December 1st. Decisions will be made on December 22nd. Contact the museum for more information.
