(The 2022 Ag report was released recently)....The gross value for Agriculture came in at just over $2.6 Billion.

That is a 14.5% increase over the previous year. The number one commodity was once again Cattle, with a gross value of $477.4 million. According to the report released Tuesday, the gross value for melons and vegetables came in at $1.1 billion. Alfalfa had the highest gross value for Field Crops at $269.7 million. The combined crops make up 463,824 acres. The number one vegetable crop was lettuce.
