The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday and took action on a number to items.

The Board approved bonuses for county employees. The three-tiered, year-end discretionary bonus is for full-time and limited term county employees and elected officials. Tier 1 employees, hired between November 3, 2018 and November 2, 2023, will receive $1,000. Tier 2 employees, hired between November 3, 2008 and November 2, 2018, will receive $2,000 and Tier 3 employees, hired on or before November 2, 2008 will receive $3,000. The bonuses will be paid on November 17, 2023. 

The Board declared the month of September as National Recovery Month, National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
