(A lot of people saw something in the sky Thursday evening)....Several people turned to social media, posting comments and videos.

Some were sure it was a UFO. Others were just confused and did not know what it was. Yet, a few knew it was a rocket launch. It has been confirmed, the rocket was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in Santa Barbara County. It was a planned, but unscheduled mission from US Space Force's Space System Command and Firefly Aerospace. The purpose was to test a response to threats. It was seen from as far away as Las Vegas Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona.
