(The City of El Centro will be hosting a special event on National Seniors Day)....The event will be at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Pavilion from 9 am to 1 pm.

They will be hosting an Around The World Extravaganza. The event is being put on with the collaboration with the City of El Centro,m Imperial County's Public Administrator. Area Agency on Aging, Behavioral Health, Catholic Charities, El Centro Regiuonal Medical Center, Calexico Wellness Center, Pacific Southwest Community Development Corporation, and the City of Calexico Housing Authority. It is being held in El Centro, but everyone is invited. Transportation will be available, with pick-up stations in Brawley, Calexico, Calipatria, El Centro, Imperial and Westmorland. It is free, but you should reserve a spot at 760-332-5055. Reservations will be accepted through August 11th.
