(The only major fireworks show for Independence Day)....It will be held July 2nd in Calipatria.

The event is being hosted by the Calipatria Foundation, Lions Club of Calipatria and the community. The Calipatria Foundation is a newly formed organization and will be assisting the Lions Club. The event will be held at the air-field in West Calipat. It will feature Fireman's Water Polo, Car show and display, music, Food Vendors, contests and a lot more. It gets underway at 4:00 Sunday July 2nd. The Fireworks start at 9:00 pm.
