(IVROP's Dancing with the Stars)....It was held Friday at the Quechan Casino.

Over 700 attended the major fundraiser. It is hosted annually by the Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program Community Foundation. Several local dignitaries or celebrities compete with dancing partners. This was the 14th annual competition, raising funds since 2007 to award 327 scholarships. The totals for this year's event have not been released. The Peoples Choice award this year went Mary Lara with Amelia's Hair Designs and her partner Marina Corral. The Judges choice went to Rosie Allegranza with the Holtville Chamber of Commerce and her partner Fernando Romo
