The Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday.

It's a chance for you to rid your medicine cabinet of unneeded and unwanted medication. There will be a collection site at the Starbucks on South 4th Stret in El Centro from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with KXO's Traci Lyon Ramirez broadcasting live from the site from 10 - Noon. Yuma residents will have a collection site at the Sheriff's Office Foothills Substation on South Frontage Road.

The event provides the opportunity to prevent pill abuse, theft, and accidental poisoning by ridding households of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms of prescription medications will be collected.
