(US resident arrested in Mexicali).....The resident is from El Centro.

He was wanted by Palm Springs Police.. The warrant against the suspect said he had escaped a US Federal Prison. He was also wanted for suspected smuggling of methamphetamine. He was identified as only Roberto Miguel. Law Enforcement in Mexico normally do not release the last name of suspects arrested in Mexico. The suspect was found by State Police near the intersection of Just Sierra Boulevard and Larroque Avenue. He was turned over to the Mexican Immigration for deportation back to the United States.
