Inclement weather is having an effect on Imperial Valley events.

The Frankie L. Chavez Memorial Scholarship event scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to weather concerns. The event will now be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023. The family event will feature music, bar-b-que, softball and horseshoe tournaments. The event will be held 11AM - 4PM at Hinojosa Park in Brawley.
