(The California Highway Patrol Closes I-8)...The CHP says they and Cal Trans have decided on a hard closure of Interstate 8 on the Mountain grade.

The closure is for all high profile vehicles. The Highway Patrol says two big rigs have overturned on Westbound I-8, west of Imperial Highway. The hard closure of both east and west bound lanes will remain in effect until further notice.
