A suspect wanted for attempted homicide was arrested Friday.
Twenty-four-year-old Jesus Ibarra-Martinez of Yuma was arrested as a suspect in an early morning shooting on January 27, 2023 that left a 31-year-old man wounded. Ibara-Martinez was arrested by Yuma County Sheriff's deputies assisted by Yuma Police. He was booked into Yuma County Detention Center on charges of Second-Degree Attempted Homicide, 3 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, 2 counts of Drive-by Shooting, Disorderly Conduct with Weapons and gang related charges. The shooting remains under investigation.
