Shortly after noon on Monday, El Centro Police received a report that there was a car in the intersection of 4th and Main Streets with the driver apparently asleep.

Officers were able to locate the car at 7th and Mian Streets and determined that the 32-year-old woman driver was under the influence. She was arrested and booked into Imperial County Jail on charges of Driving Under the Influence.
