An early morning accident claimed the life of a 34-year-old Yuma, Arizona man.

The accident was reported at about 4:38 a.m. Sunday on Highway 95 and Mile Marker 7 in rural Yuma. Two vehicles collided head-on resulting in fatal injuries to the driver of a Honda Civic. The driver and a passenger in a Hyundai Santa Fe suffered serious injuries and were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center. Yuma County Sheriff's Investigators said that alcohol appears to be a factor in the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
