A driver was arrested after being involved in an early morning hit & run accident.

At about 1:39 a.m. Sunday morning, El Centro Police responded to the report of a rollover accident in the 800 block of Westwind. Witnesses said that car rolled over and they saw a man run from the scene. Officers were able to locate the driver a short time later and he was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and booked at Imperial County Jail.
