Brawley City Councilman Gilbert Rebollar has ben named the Imperial County representative to the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG).

Rebollar fills the seat previously occupied by El Centro City Council member Cheryl Viegas Walker. Rebollar will represent the seven Imperial County cities on   SCAG's 86-member Regional Council Governing Board and will serve on the Association's Transportation Committee.
