The El Centro Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees has accepted the termination notice tendered by Hospital Management Partners effective January 29, 2023.

The termination notice was tendered on January 14, 2023, and becomes effective January 29, 2023. Hospital Management Partners provided the current Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer for the El Centro hospital and the temporary services of those two positions has also been terminated effective January 29.

The El Centro City Council, meeting as the ECRMC Board of Trustees Thursday night, issued a press release stating that they want to assure the community that ECRMC will continue to be open and will continue to care for the Valley's medical needs. The hospital and outpatient clinics are open and providing healthcare services. The Board said that a press conference that will include the Board Chairman and Executive Staff of the hospital is planned to bring clarity to the community.
