(The County Supervisors did not meet this week).....By ordinance, the Board does not meet following a holiday on Monday.

The Board chambers were used on Tuesday. A swearing in ceremony was held for recently elected County personnel. The oath of office was administered to Auditor/Controller Karina Alvarez, Clerk/Recorder Chuck Storey,, Treasurer/Tax Collector Suzanne Bermudez, and Superintendent of Schools Todd Finnell. Newly elected County Supervisor for District 5, John Hawk took the oath before Christmas. Newly Elected District Attorney, George Marquez, will be sworn into office this Saturday in Holtville. The County Board of Supervisors will hold their first meeting of the new year on January 10th. The Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors will also hold their first meeting of the year on January 10th.
