(City Councils Reorganize).....In El Centro outgoing Mayor Oliva turned over the gavel.

It went to new Mayor Martha Cardenas-Singh. Council member Sylvia Marroquin was named Mayor Pro-Tem. The oath of office was administered to re-elected Tomas Oliva and newly elected Sonia Carter. In Calipatria Maria Nava-Froelich was appointed Mayor.. Sylvia Chavez was named Mayor Pro-tem. Taking the Oath of Office was re-elected Javier Amezcua and newly elected Michael Luellen the second and Fred Beltran. The Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors reorganize on December 20th.
