A man faces multiple charges after he was stopped by El Centro Police shortly after midnight Sunday morning.

An officer on patrol stopped the driver on Highway 86 at Wall Road after he was observed traveling at an unsafe speed, making an unsafe lane change, following too closely and reckless driving. The man was also charged with Driving Under the influence. The 38-year-old man was cited and released to his mother.
