San Diego State University Imperial Valley's School of Nursing held their first-ever White Coat Ceremony on Saturday.
Ten students were recognized with the rite of passage for nursing students who are beginning the clinical placement portion of their education. The students are the first cohort of nursing students enrolled in the SDSU-IV's new, accelerated, pre-licensure bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) program. The program give students an opportunity to complete the BSN in three years and transfer eligible students in two years.
