At their meeting this week, the County Board of Supervisors unanimously agreed to contribute $200,000 to the Salton Sea Authority. The SSA is a joiunt powers Authority responsible for working on consultation and cooperation with the State of California to overseethe comprehensive restorationb of the Salton Sea, and directed by board-approved policy to assert a leadership role to ensure priorities are recognized..
