The National Weather Service is forecasting a slight cooling trend for the Valley.

Temperatures will hover around the 100 degree mark for the week while overnight lows will drop to themed-70's. The humidity will continue to linger and NWS says there is even a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms early in the week. The weather service added that Hurricane Orlene, located off the Pacific Coast of Mexico, is likely to have little discernible effect on the our area.
