A 72-year-old man was able to escape his burning trailer.

Yuma Fire Department says that the man was in his trailer at the Orange Trailer Court on South 4th Avenue when it caught fire. A Yuma policeman and a neighbor were able to assist the man, who has some physical limitations, escape. Yuma Fire reported that two mattresses and some clothes were burning. The fire apparently caused by discarded smoking materials. The fire was extinguished, and firefighters ventilated the trailer. The victim was treated for smoke inhalation.
