A Yuma woman is facing charges following a Tuesday afternoon shooting.

Yuma County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 18000 block of S. Avenue 3E at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday after reports of a shooting disturbance. On arrival, deputies learned that a woman had shot a man during a domestic disturbance. The victim was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening wounds. The suspect, 31-year-old Delicia Markovich, was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon per Domestic Violence. The incident remains under investigation.
