(City of Imperial's new website).....It was launched Tuesday.

The new communication platform has been in the works for nearly a year. The new website focuses on on enhancing public information sharing and increasing accessibility and functionality for both residents and community stakeholders. Imperial Mayor Geoff Dale said COVID shined a bright light on their aging digital infrastructure. He said they wanted to be a 21st century organization. Dale said the new site serves as an important communications tool to improve information sharing and usability. He said it was their new digital front door to Imperial. Several new programs allow resident's better access to information and services from the convenience of their own devices. In addition, the new website expands the City online fillable forms, streamlines digital operations and centralizes its social media accounts. The city will continue to refine the new design, and add features based on feedback received from the initial launch
