(Collision near Winterhaven).....It was reported at 10:33 Thursday morning.

The California Highway Patrol says a semi, traveling east on Interstate 8, near Seminole Road, crashed into two slow moving small vehicles. The CHP says the small vehicles were rolling with their emergency flashers on. Very little information is available. The Highway Patrol says there were injuries, including children. As of 11:45 Thursday morning emergency personnel were working the scene and traffic on the Interstate was still blocked or slowed way down. Tyhe CHP is investigating the collision.
