(Riverside County has hired an engineering firm)...The news was provided by the Salton Sea Authority.

They say the engineering company is to prepare the engineering and final design of a Salton Sea revitaliztion project in the community of North Shore. It is the first major project for the Riverside County northern portion of the Salton Sea. The Riverside Board of Supervisors this week approved an agreement with Dudek for the engineering of the North Lake Pilot Demonstration Project. With the contract in place, Riverside Supervisor V.Manuel Perez, in coordination with the Salton Sea Authority and the California Department of Water Resources, looks forward to scheduling the next public outreach meeting on the project for fall 2022. Perez said this was an importanbt step forward for the North Lake project.
